These are the most stunning neoclassical French marble relief resin sculpture panels in a beautifully moulded ornate gold frame.
They are a pair and and are copies of François Duquesnoy originals, each of a woman, believed to be a depiction of Venus, surrounded by putti (Chubby Male Winged Cherubs). Note the signatures, "Francois Duquesnoy Paris 1892", in the opposite corners of each panel.
The back is covered in French newspaper.
